Bekir Kalkan was born in Şanlıurfa in 01.05.1992. He is married and has one daughter. He completed his high school education at "Esentepe IMKB" high school and won the "Kyrenia American University - Preschool Teaching" Department in 2012 with the scholarship exam. After 4 years of education, he worked in various kindergarten institutions. During his period, he has always struggled to realize his dream with the desire to open a private kindergarten with his own dream. And this dream in May 2024. He himself was found at the beginning of the construction process and institution of the school building. He is interested in designing all classes as wide and spacious and in detail in the construction process.
Bekir Kalkan emphasized the importance of gains such as self -expression, socialization, increasing the sense of research and improving psychomotor skills by taking into account the holistic development of children. Rather than a single approach to educational approaches, it has prepared the training program by combining and blending all approaches according to the physical and environmental factors of our school. He defined it as a training approach blended with this system. Bekir Kalkan's current goal aims to become a new face of Şanlıurfa for a qualified education and to be an exemplary school in education.
As the founder of the Space Kindergarten, he adopted an innovative and holistic understanding of education. Following many years of experience and observations in the education sector, he realized that the education of children at an early age greatly affected their future success. With this consciousness, it aimed to establish the Space Kindergarten in the Karaköprü Recreation Area and enable children to learn in a natural environment.
The blended education approach addresses the individual learning styles of children by bringing together the best aspects of modern education methods. In the training program, creative activities and intelligence workshops have an important place. Thanks to these activities, children increase their self -confidence while improving problem solving skills and have the opportunity to use their imagination. Bekir Kalkan's vision is to focus not only for the academic achievements of children in the Space Kindergarten, but also to their emotional and social development.
As of today, Bekir Kalkan continues to serve as the founding manager and responsible manager at Space Kindergarten.
